Greenpeace #
Full speed ahead for the environment
Greenpeace campaigns worldwide for the protection of the natural resources of mankind and nature and for justice for all living beings.
Greenpeace was founded in 1971 and is represented by national and regional offices in over 55 countries. More than three million people support us worldwide, including around 620,000 sustaining members in Germany. We are committed to the protection of the natural foundations of life for people and nature worldwide through direct and non-violent action.
Greenpeace educates, investigates and confronts. The international environmental organization represents the interests of nature and people. It persistently pursues problems over a long period of time. Greenpeace lives the right to freedom of expression, including the right to freedom of demonstration. By publicly confronting politicians, corporate leaders and environmental destroyers, the pressure is growing in politics and business to act differently.
